This is Wheaty, a Wheaten Terrier, outside of The Lost Dog Cafe on Folly Beach. Isn’t he about the cutest most innocent looking dog you’ve seen in a long time? Well, our court system is about to bring that into question! It’s shocking I know, but 9-year-old Wheaty was recently arrested for running loose on the beach and must appear in court tomorrow (Friday) at 9 a.m. His owner, Sandy, says he’s really very sorry and hopes for leniency. She told me that Wheaty pulled a wheelchair for several years when they lived in the Cape area of Massachusetts. Sandy should make a good character witness. Months off for time spent in service?
